| Version 1.8 worked a bit slow but was usable. Version 1.9 is too slow in the response to mouse movement - using any of the mouse options. |

One of the changes from V1.8 to V1.9 was increasing the default graphics resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 - this looks better but can run slower on some systems. Try running the game with a graphics resolution of 640x480x32 or 800x600x32 to see if it makes things better. |

| Set the "Mouse Synchronization" option in the startup window to "Method 2" - hopefully this will help. |
