Gaps doesn't score right

I play on a MAC. In Gaps, sometimes the score goes up when I play a card in the tableau and sometimes it doesn't. I cannot discern a pattern.

Click the "Score" tab from the main menu, then select "Gaps Scoring System" to see the details of how the scoring works for Gaps.

Yes, I have done that. It says that it scores ten points for each card up in suit in tableaus, but it sometimes add 10 points and often doesn't.

The tableaus counting only applys to the cards that start from the initial 2 on the left (at least I hope so). Other cards up in suit not connected to the 2 on the left do not count.

well, on my machine, it adds on cards not connected to the 2 on the left.... but the moving a 2 to the open spot did not add. Adding the 3 did. But that's just now. There is no predicting when it adds and when it doesn't.

and when I redeal, it often takes the score back to zero which shouldn't happen if each move is worht 10 and undos are only worth 2

I had a quick look and it does indeed seem to be strange. I'll investigate further and hopefully fix it up for the next version. I'll post here when its ready (but it'll be a few months probably).

This problem has been fixed up (I hope) in the latest version.
