Re: V 7.10.00 Mac won't sleep now

No help here. I'm running Solitaire version 7.10 on my iMac with macOS 10.14.6 and just tried sleeping it with the game open and no problems. I'd suggest deleting all traces of the game on your iMac and re-downloading and installing the new version again. It can be a little tricky the first time. Go...

Re: Trying to Install v. 7.02

Thanks for posting that, DaddyBill! That's the same error message I'm getting, and probably everyone else with this problem. Hopefully it's an easy fix. I rebooted my iMac using my SuperDuper backup drive, and it had version 7.0 of Solitaire. Plays just fine. Booted back with my internal drive with ...

Trying to Install v. 7.02

When I got rid of my old Solitaire (paid version 7.0) I used Dr. Cleaner to deeply uninstall. First time using that with Solitaire. Now when I try to opwen Solitaire I get a system error. TypeInitializationException.
I tried copying the entire error message but it didn't allow it. Any help available?

Re: 64 Bit version for next OSX

So I've been using version 7 of Solitaire for about a week now. For me, I like the new fullscreen display that stll shows the title bar and dock. Very nice addition. Also this version seems to be a lot faster in its response. Now the buttons on the right side of the screen are smaller than they were...

Thank you, Aiden! Just downloaded version 7 to my 2017 iMac and it works great. Come on, Catalina. :D

Current Solitaire 3D is 32 bit.

Aidan, any news of an update/upgrade? :?:

Re: Upgrading to 64 bit

It looks like June of 2019 is the best guess when OS 10.15 comes out and it won't support 32 bit apps.
Take your time, Aidan, to make it a good release! :D

Re: Upgrading to 64 bit

Aidan,
Amazon just upgraded their Kindle app for Mac to 64 bit. And I use GrassGames a heckuva lot more than my Kindle app. Please just make sure it's stable and good to go with no unwanted surprises.
Let us know when it's ready.

I expect Aidan is getting it all together for a 64 bit release. Maybe working out bugs and other stuff before the rollout is necessary. I hope we hear something soon.

Re: How to uninstall

I'm no expert, but I'd try an application like AppCleaner.
I think all apps such as this get most everything, but they may leave a few files.
Best of luck!

Adding countries the flags in online scoring

Something to consider in a future update to Solitaire: In online scoring the flag of the country is shown for each player. Would it be difficult to add the country to the flag shown, perhaps by hovering your cursor over each flag? I know some of the flags, but I don't think anyone knows all the flag...

Re: New Apple iOS 11 imminent

I've just released a new version (6.74) for the iPhone today, just the full version, the free ones and iPad versions are not updated yet. Can someone check to see if it fixes the rotation problems? It should be in the app store on your iPhone soon. I updated my wife's iPad Mini 3 to Solitaire 6.74 ...

Re: New Apple iOS 11 imminent

Great question!
My wife uses Solitaire on her iPad and she will freak if she loses it. Is Solitaire version 6.72 compatible with iOS 11?

On Edit:
I took the plunge and updated the iPad to iOS 11. Solitaire is working great! My wife is happy so I'm happy. Thanks Aidan! :D

Re: game icon

Maybe this: It sounds like you still have the game on your Air. So open Finder and go to Applications in the sidebar. Click on it and see if Solitaire 3D is there. If so, double-click on it to open it up. When it opens, choose the Windowed version. When it opens, the icon will be in the dock (work b...

I'm old school, playing Klondike for 99% of my solitaire time. I just recently found Double Klondike and it is a very fast version of Klondike. I just wanted to thank Aidan for including it in the solitaire bundle!

From the FAQ page: Q. Can I install purchased games onto more than one computer? A. Yes. You are allowed to install them on up to three machines that you own. Just login to your GrassGames' Customer Account on each machine to get the full version for that machine. The full page is here: http://www.g...

Very timely. I think what you're asking just happened to me. The solitaire game on my machine resets the games every Saturday. So my Local scoreboard shows only what has happened in this past week. Re: Scoring

Good question.
I only have one score showing as well on the Online scoreboard. Maybe there are several players out there with the same name? Or maybe they're playing on different computers, although I'm not sure if that would cause multiple high scores to show up.

Is it possible to have the same scoreboard on two Macs?

We have an iMac and a Macbook Air with GrassGames Solitaire on each machine. My wife used the Air and I use the iMac. Is there any way we can share the same "Local" scoreboard on both machines?
