Re: Landscape/Portrait wont stay
The feature to lock the orientation is not planned to come back as most iPhones have this option on the phone and it brought a lot of headaches trying to implement it again (the game was re-written recently using a different graphics system). Search the web for "lock iPhone to landscape mode" to fin...

Re: Three Shuffles and a Draw Freezing
At this stage of the game you need to select a card under a top card to "draw out" - this means moving the card to the top of the pile. So you need to tap on a hidden card - this card will move to the top, and the red X will show at the top to show that no more shuffles or draws are available. If yo...

Also keep in mind that not being able to open ports does not mean you cannot join or host games. In some situations it does not cause problems.

You don't mention which game you are playing. If its Solitaire 3D then this game has been updated since your post.

Re: Unable to fill in username and pass login
Things have changed a lot in version 7 so I think the original problem has been solved. "Then as my location is early on the new dateline I can get my scores up and running well before my opponents come on line. That gives them a scoreboard that they then have to catch up with." - enjoy this while y...

Version 6 had an option to lock the rotation mode within in the game.
Version 7 does not, but rotation problems should be fixed up.

Re: iOS 13.5 update
The game was updated to version 7 recently on both iPhones and iPads - its not connected in any way with the iOS release. Just a timing coincidence by the sound of things.
Anyway good to hear that you are happy.

Do you mean the latest version 7 update to the iPhone version of the game, or are you talking about updates to the iOS system itself?

Re: Linux Version?
I'm not sure what happened to that screenshot - post it up again if you still have it.
In the meantime, and largely due to your post, Solitaire 3D is now available for Linux.
I haven't figured out how to package it properly yet - that part is not easy on Linux at all, but hopefully it will run ok.

I've made some updates and will be releasing a new full version for iPhones and Android soon.
By re-arranging the pips I was able to make them a lot bigger than before:

Re: New decks in v7.22 need fixing
Here's version 6 'Deck A' and version 7 'Belgian'. I don't see a huge difference - the small pips were wider apart in V6, but apart from that?

The iPad decks are different. If you want to see the old decks, the free versions have not been updated yet, so you can download them in the app store (search for 'grassgames').

"The numbers are larger but the suit is so much smaller that it makes fast play difficult." Are you talking about the suit on the suit on the top near the number, or down below the numbers? To me, the decks look way better in version 7, but possibly the pips below got a bit smaller: Cards V6 V7.jpg

So wrong to penalize for holding Queen to get the leader This does not happen in the current scoring system. Opinions are interesting though, keep them coming. It was suggested some time ago about resetting the ratings every month also and keeping a history of "top players of the month" instead. Ma...
