Host Quits And Disconnection?

Post by Naisyalam »

downinthedirt was hosting and quit in the middle of the game and then I've gotten disconnected from the game. Why was I disconnected and why not the host replaced by the AI insteaad?

This topic was already quite well described here in the past and it is very valuable, that you share your experience here to spread the info for all. The phenomenon, you have described is just a bug in the game. Cheaters know about it and use it to avoid getting their ranking score reduced.
My advice for you is to read forum in search for confirmed cases of unfair players, who use every possibile way to cheat. Some players who had experienced this multiple times in the past have now their own lists with players names to avoid.

BTW. In some time you maybe also understand better what is behind Iceman's activities and you rather appreciate his efforts in search for quitters, cheaters and abusers than try to disgrace them, as you unfortunately did some time ago. Sad, that you need to be a victim to finally appreciate the Police existence...

Your analogy at the end was spot on, Marek. It's a shame that's how it is most of the time. I can kind of understand that though, as much as I wish it was different.
