Can't use Ipad since update, help!

Hi guys. on one ipad i use for the game has become unusable since an OS update a few months ago. It doesn't recognize my screen name and asks to log in. when i type, it is letters not being typed. it types a y when i am tapping the backspace button, etc. any ideas? i have not updated my older ipad so i can continue to play the game. help! scott ChiGuy
