game icon

Postby drslavitt » Jun 30, 2017

I had 3D solitaire on my MacBook Air. An Apple genius took a lot of "junk" off the computer, including the icon for Solitaire 3D. I can still access the game by going to the App Store, finding the game, and clicking on Open. I get the game with all my statistics. So I'm in the system. But this is a lot to have to go through to play it. There used to be an icon in the work bar I could just click on. What to do?

Maybe this:
It sounds like you still have the game on your Air. So open Finder and go to Applications in the sidebar. Click on it and see if Solitaire 3D is there. If so, double-click on it to open it up. When it opens, choose the Windowed version. When it opens, the icon will be in the dock (work bar). Right click on it and choose Keep In Dock.
You'll be good to go. If this doesn't work, come on back for other suggestions.
Hope this helps!
PS… The "geniuses" at Apple aren't always. :D
