All my congratulations for your software, most realistic set of table tennis which I know. A French translation of your site would still allow him better a diffusion. Friendly |

Bravissimo for your software. A realization close to the human behavior. I practise the play with a " trackball ",I advises it, preferable with the mouse because better sensitivity and better possibility of reaction. |

Ok - I'll get myself a trackball one of these days. Thanks for the tip. |

Minor versions will be free, the next major version, which may not be for a year or two, will be discounted - too early to give any figures though. |

hi Congrats for that well tuned gameplay ! ( much better than this old "ping pong 3d" version !! ) Two things I-d like to see : -) rotation of the disk ( to the left or to the right relative to the table ) (just an esthetic stuff ) -) The "game over" sequence is too long... it-s a fast game, so I click nervously to try to beat my opponent again... and each time i have to wait during 5 seconds..argh.. frustrating ) |

Hey everyone !! I have designed a tutorial page for table tennis. I also included some tips and vidoes about how to hit some shots. If your interested you can visit my site. http://www.hamoudy.com/Ping_Pong_Tutorials.php I did this for fun, if you do like what you see you can always leave me a comment on my site . |

A great game for sure ! Wonder why so far no big gaming company has vebtured into this. Only trouble I had was doing too many things at once especially when playing Pai Tong... Like... AA) When the ball is coming at you with spin and (say) at right corner of the table.. .. I have to position the bat approx where the ball is going to hit .. Right click and turn the bat facing inwards toward the table plus move the mouse up or down to tilt the bat for required power .. Let go of the right button and then move the mouse (say) right for the spin inwards plus up or down for top or back spin Hushhhh.. BB) while doing all this the bat is marooned in the same position and if the ball turns more or less than expected, you are busted.. Can-t adjust the bat again .. This is definately not life-like.. In real game I can play last minute saving shots.. Not in this game :-( CC) All the things said in AA are done by the computer opponent very easily and precisely.. That is too much of advantage.. I would love to hit them back with their own kinda shots.. But can-t becoz too many things to do and too little time :-( So I am forced to use only (say) angle and side spin to just land on the table.. |

(continued) DD) would like to see this improved.. .. Imagine for instance if the bat can keep moving even after clicking the right button so I can do late second adjustment .. I have two hands ;-) My left can be used to give side and/or top, back spins using (maybe) A,S,D,W keys ; or better still to angle the bat, coz spin I would like to control using the movement of my mouse so as to add more like in real life play. I don-t know if I am the only one with these troubles, but am sure everyone likes to see a good thing become better !! I would love the game much more if I can do what the comps can do.. I understand that even now I can do it.. But just doing four different this in vert short time is difficult and taxing on the right hand ! I hope I was of some help.. Reply and comments really welcome.. Also I would love if someone will show me how to improve on above things.. Thanks Ketan, India |

Wow - big message - and some good points. For points AA and BB : if the mouse is used to add Power and Spin (or even if only Spin), how is it possible to control the movement of the bat and add spin at the same time ? The only solution would be to implement a Spin key, which when pressed adds Spin by moving the mouse. Then if no shot key is pressed and the spin key is not pressed, the bat can move again. I think however this would add too much confusion, having power and shot keys. The full process would then be: move the bat - press the power key - move the mouse - press the spin key - move the mouse. When I play I never have this problem, just ensure you line the bat up right to begin with, delay the adding of power / spin a bit if necessary. CC) It is possible to do everything the computers can do (I-ve always hated games where this was not true) but you are right, you have to be quick. Slowing down the game speed is a solution, but not a great one. DD) part 1 - the bat keeps moving - discussed above DD) part 2 - this point (using ASDW keys to add power and/or spin) - I will look into seriously in the next version (planned for later in the year, but cannot give any estimates when yet) - it might work, or at least as a secondary option. Thanks for the comments ... |

really cool game! the most realistic table tennis game i have ever seen..good job ! i played the 3dr ping pong version and this is a lot cooler..especialy the practise mode with the machine that shuts balls i love it.. sry for my english i from israel so i speak hebrew... |

Am I the only one who cannot add spin or control the direction of the ball? the corner shots that require me to angle the ball sharply in are just about impossible to make. And sometimes the bat sticks, and does not move. I love the graphics of the game, but this is much too hard to control. |
