I am new and need some help. We have 2 computers hooked together via a router. DHCP assigns IP addresses to both computers. My Grandson and I cannot wait to play TT Pro against each other. Someone with more smart than me may enlighten me. Do I need the game on both computers Etc. Do I need to share? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Both computers need to have the prgram installed. Once this is done you should be able click multiplayer on both computers, then click the second option (tcpip) on both also. On one choose create game and it will go to screen where you wait for other players to join. Now you need to ip address of the machine you created the game on. Go to the 2nd pc and follow the first 2 step but on this one click start searching,a box will popup. In that box enter the ip of the first pc.you should be able to see an opponent to play, now just click play this opponent. |

Try using the computer names instead of IP addresses - they should be different. You just type in the computer name instead of the IP address, hopefully it will work. |

Thanks to all on the above post-Got it straightened out. Now,when I buy the game-is it licensed to be used on two computers? Or do I have to buy two copies? |

I know you do not have to buy the program again for the second computer. If I remember correctly you have 3 possible unlocks( done on line ) for each registered purchase!!!!! It has been a while since I purchased. Write Aidan through the support link and I am sure he will help you. You are right, it is really fun once you get it hooked up!!!! |

Yes, you get three licenses per purchase, so no need to worry about setting up multiplayer games. |

If you are behind a router, your computer will operate with 2 ip adresses. One (internal) for communicating with your local network. Another (external) for communicating with the internet. To determine your computers internal IP, go to Start Button - ) Run... Type cmd (or command if you like). In the console window that pops up type ipconfig. |
