what are the minimum and the recommended system requirements for this game? The game seems to run smoothly on my WInXP Celeron 1 GHZ and Geforece 440MX card in 16-bit mode at almost all resolutions in True 3D mode with all quality settings set to high. in 32-bit mode at resolutions )640x480 things begin to slow down a bit. I have an old computer where I plan to install the game some time later. It is an old Celeron 300 Mhz in Windows 98 and an ATI Rage Pro AGP 4 MB card. will it have a smooth frame-rate in True 3D even at 512x384 16bit mode? this mode seems the most tolerable when it comes to graphics quality |

The game works well on older PCs, and this is what the "Fixed" 3d graphics mode was designed for. However you should be able the game running ok under the "True 3d" mode if you turn off the rooms, or use the glass table, or both (see the user manual for more details on speeding up the graphics). Its hard to know for sure - the easiest way to find out is to try it on your old pc and see how things go. |
