Running on Vista - sometimes, on beginner mode the bat does not get into position to return opponents ball - it just stays static in the centre |

I have the same problems. Suddenly the bat can not be moved (Windows 7). How can I fix the problem?
Please help! Otherwise the game is not playable! |

First of all you should use "Normal" or control mode where you control the movement of the bat yourself. I plan to remove the beginner mode completely someday.
If you still cannot move the bat, check the options,controls menu to ensure that your mouse is selected as a controller.

I'm not happy to hear that the Beginner mode will be removed in the future. I do not play very often. Just for fun. And I don't want to learn a complicated bat movement :-(
Back to the problem: I checked the options and the control menu. I tried all different settings. But the Beginner mode still doesn't work.
I can't understand that, because the free version of the game was working well. |

Truth is there's a new version that's been in progress on and off for over a year now, but due to being busy on other projects I have yet to release it.
As for removing beginner mode or not, I'll have to look into it again, but I'm not happy with the current implementation. |

Guess I should have mentioned that I am a Mac user, not windows. I need a solution for Mac. I'm using LION OS. |
