Mouse

My mouse can be used to navigate the screens, but won't work at all when I try to play a game. I've tried mouse 1, mouse 2 and whel mouse and nothing works. Yes, I do have 'normal' control selected. I used Table Tennis Pro successfully for about three months, the problem has only occured since I reinstalled my system software and backed the game up to a separate drive. Any ideas?

In the control screen, try pressing the "Reset All" button to reset the controls to their defaults.

If this does not help, try creating a new user from the main startup screen - this sets all settings back to defaults - may help.

Also ensure you have the correct mouse device seleted in the Controls screen - on some systems more than one mouse device can show up in the device list.

I have exactly the same problem since I upgraded to Leopard. None of the solutions above works...
(I have TTpro Deluxe on a MacBook Pro).
Any idea ?

I need to do a new version it seems to address this problem - it will be a month or more at least though - I hope you have patience. I will post here when it is ready.

I just bought a Logitech MX400 Laser Mouse specially for the game, because my mighty Mouse didnot play nice with TT-Pro de Luxe 2.32. But it appears that the Logitech mouse does not work on the version 2 (you can navigate through the screens, start a game but you can't play). On version 1 the mouse just work great.

Hans, can you confirm that the Mighty Mouse works fine for the latest TTPro but the Logitech one does not ? Or both don't work with the lastest TTPro (V2.32) ?

Hi Adian,

The Apple Mighty mouse does function normal, i.e. you can play games. The Logitech MX400 does nothing except navigation. (Of course the mouse is selected in the controls section.

Thanks for the reply, Hnas

Same problem as above, and I guess I remember since my Tiger system was upgraded to 10.4.11 (i.e. a looooong time ago already!). My Logitech mouse allows me to navigate through the different screens, but does not allow ANY action with the bat. In other words, I cannot play any more...

Yep same problem with my Logitech Performance MX mouse. This has been an issue for 2 years! Any chance of a fix?!?
