Mouse issues still not fixed

Why is it that the mouse issues have still not been fixed? Are we going to see a new version or should we just give up?

Have a look at the "Problems Fixed" thread to see if anything helps. A new version is still in progress (just put another months work into it recently) but its on hold again for the time being.
